BER is a family run business with tradition.

We were established in 1975 to manufacture asbestos-free and non-combustible panels and boards made of a wood chip-cement mixture.
In 1977, we gained the approval of the Materials Testing Institute of North Rhine-Westphalia (MPA) and the Institute of Civil Engineering in Berlin granted its Test Certificate. The standardized method of production was established. Since 1983, we have had four production facilities and office buildings with approximately area of 18,000 m², representing a total investment DM 10 million. Since then we have an annual production of about 200,000 square metres of fire protection panels, non flammable cladding, lining and ceilings panels.
This was the foundation stone of the company, which now enjoys an established name in this field.
Since the end of the 1980s BER has devoted its production at Hovelhof to timeless and beautiful acoustic products that enrich existing and modern buildings. You can have a look...

BER’s commitment goes beyond a quick delivery of the order; its objective is the quality of its products and services helped by fast decision-making and reliability.
A close working relationship with building owners, architects and installers is important to BER. But a well finished project will only be seen if the products are correctly installed – therefore BER is always available to meet designers and installers to discuss any problems and provide the answer, from the idea to completion.
BER will continue to set standards.
