Ball impact resistant constructions

With BER ball impact resistant constructions you are on the safe side

Many of BER ceiling and wall constructions are ball impact resistant to DIN 18032-3. In addition, BER ball impact resistant ceilings are in accordance with EN 13964, Appendix D to shock resistance. Ball impact resistant ceiling systems include the BER maximum load class 1A. Which withstands a bombardmennt of 36 hand balls fired by a pneumatic device. The impact speed is 16.5 ± 0.8 m / s, which is about 60 km / h. The constructions also resisted these very high mechanical stress levels without difficulty.

Walls must be ball impact resistant from the sports FLOOR to a height of 2 metres. In addition, there is a requirement that the wall construction must be resiliant and maintain its integrity (minimum 60%). The MPA Stuttgart has examined the construction in accordance with requirements of the Federation of Accident Insurance standards profile (BAGUV). BER ball impact resistant surfaces achieve increased resiliance.
